The East Chamber presents its compliments, this is to inform you that we received a letter from the Council of Saudi Chambers number (ش.غ/ 1358) dated (30/04/1436 e), referred it to the letter of the Ministry of Agriculture number (162 675) dated (04/12/1436 e) containing that heBased on follow-up to the ministry of health status veterinarian in the various countries of the world, and where he received the bulletin warning of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) by e-mail dated (14/01/2015 m), corresponding to (03/13/1436 e) containing the outbreak of inflammation cutaneous nodular diseaseCows in the State of Kuwait (Lumpy Skin Disease) and in anticipation of the leak of this disease to the kingdom and in the public interest.
The Council would advise you that the ministry has issued Resolution No. (157 058) dated (07/04/1436 e) to impose a temporary ban on the importation of cattle from Kuwait because of inflammation of lumpy skin disease while to make sure they are free of the disease.
